Life as a Finance Student 2022
True to the tradition, we held the annual Life as a Finance Student on the 19th of Sep. The event gathered many of the students from the first semester that would like to hear from second year students, what they will encounter over the next two years during their master. Many great questions were asked and many good discussions on the various approaches and expectations were conducted. We thank all the students that came out for the two hour session. We look forward to following you on your journey as a Finance student at AU BSS.
Amplify Accelerator Simulation Event

AFA and FACCE joined forces with AmplifyME, an educational enterprise produced by Amplify Trading, a London-based company that trains interns before their experiences start at Financial Institutions.
This Partnership meant that participants were allowed to challenge their skills and take the simulation used to train graduate hires at Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Credit Suisse, and Citi!

Those that stood out during the accelerator event were allowed to have their internship applications potentially fast-tracked with firms such as Morgan Stanley, Quadrature, Franklin Templeton.

Master Thesis Inspiration

Our Master Thesis Inspiration was a huge success! With great presentations from 6 different researchers, our vast number of participants got a lot of inspiration and ideas for possible subjects and takes on the master thesis.
A huge thanks to all who participated and not least to the researchers who kindly took their time to present their ideas within their respective fields.
